With the support of contractors KSO PT Sangkan Jaya and PT Prima Estika, PLN (Persero) TJBB completed and energized their 500 kV quad bundled Suralaya to Balaraja transmission line on December 30, 2019. Support for the installation was also provided by PLN, PLN Engineering, PT KMI Wire and Cable Tbk, and CTC Global’s Licensed Service Provider PT Dinamika Elektra Mandiri

As one of the best cable manufacturers in Indonesia, PT KMI Wire and Cable Tbk. participated in the “Safe, Green and Smart Electricity” program initiated by the West Java Provincial Government and the International Copper Association (ICA), by presenting in a seminar held on Monday, April 29, 2019 in Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).

PT KMI Wire and Cable Tbk, one of the biggest cable manufacturers inIndonesia, has successfully passed the full type test on a 150kV 2000mm2 power cable. The test was performed according to IEC 60840 (2011) atKEMA Laboratories Arnhem. This makes PT KMI Wire and Cable Tbk as thefirst cable manufacturer in Indonesia who certified with KEMA Laboratories.

PT KMI Wire and Cable Tbk has been completed and successful supplied of145 kV Underground Power Cable for Petapahan Substation Upgrade Projectof PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia.
